San Diego County Bar Association
Founded in 1899 and over 10,000 members strong, the San Diego County Bar Association is the region's oldest and largest law-related organization. Dan Holsenback has served as a member of the San Diego delegation to the annual California State Bar Conference of Delegates in 1998-2000 & 2005-2006. He is currently a Director of the San Diego County Bar Association.
ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties
The mission of the ACLU is to assure that the Bill of Rights is preserved for each new generation. Dan has provided pro bono legal services to the ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties.
SUSHI Performance and Visual Art
Sushi Performance and Visual Art, founded in 1980, is a San Diego-based nonprofit multi-disciplinary presenting organization that cultivates alternative voices in the contemporary arts. Dan served as a member of the board of directors from 1999-2002 and was President from 2002-2004.
Actors Alliance of San Diego
The Actors Alliance of San Diego is dedicated to the advancement, exposure and education of the theatre artist in San Diego. Dan served on the board from 2000-2002.
YMCA Youth & Family Services
YMCA Youth & Family Services is the social services department of the YMCA of San Diego County. Dan has served as a volunteer mentor in a YMCA YFS program for at-risk youth.
The Carter Center
Founded in 1982 by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, The Carter Center is committed to advancing human rights and alleviating unnecessary human suffering.
Wildcoast
Dan grew up in Imperial Beach, where he not only gained a love of the water but also witnessed the increasing contamination of the marine environment. He is thrilled that one of his childhood friends, Serge Dedina, founded Wildcoast to help protect and preserve coastal ecosystems in the Californias and Latin America.
